No. But when we lived in South Miami we had swarms of roaches. The extermator was our most frequent visitor My favorite cat died of eating poisoned roaches.

The only bugs I have seen were when we were snowbirds and returned to our home, there were spiders under the where the baseboards on the kitchen cabinets extend and in some corners.... and teeny tiny iddy biddy ants in the bathroom. I made short work of the spiders with the vacuum and Deans came out and sprayed and put ant traps down. GONE.

I have NOT seen a water bug, palmetto bug or roach in almost four years and those who know me know I go over my place pretty carefully.

Once I left fruit in the fruit bowl too long and got those fruit gnats.

When we were at the Square for the live broadcast of Fox and Friends, we were watching as a couple stomped the roaches crawling on the sidewalk coming out of the vegetation. I've seen roaches on the sidewalks outside restaurants with outside seating. Roaches are found everywhere in the US.

I've never had a problem with the roaches eating the glue in the cardboard boxes in my attic. I just sprinkle dried bread crumbs around the boxes and the roaches never bother them.

My pest guy told me the flying roaches often accompany new palms that were recently planted. Had two fly in my house . My pest guy came out said not to worry the only live 72 hours. told him it was 73 hours too long. I did manage to get both. he sprayed outside and that took care of the problem. I saw one out i the yard three years later so called him back.

My pest guy came out today to take care of another problems rover ants.

they are little black ants that look like specs of pepper until you see them move. If they are on your granite counters you will nevr see them unless you go eye level and use a flash light.

we found some in our bathroom sink pu;;ed everything out from under the counter and puled the drain apart...none there

My pest guy said the rover ant is the mascot of the villages. They burrow deep under the concrete slab and work up to cracks in the slab and then up to small cracks incaulking, etc. since they only have one queen one treatment usually takes care of the problem until another crew finds an opening.

We have had two mortimers ( frogs) try to move in. Boy those puppies move but not as fast as the three geckos that looked up at me, over the past 6 years when entering my house with that dumb look of theirs you could almost here them say," dog poopie now what"

Told my pest guy I wanted to buy him a cell phine so I could call him direcly day or night...no critters welcome in my house

I have found that Terro Ant Bait is better than spraying poison all over the house. The bait is liquid and comes in a small flat container. You just snip off the end and lay it where the ants are crawling. They will take the bait back to their nest and it will kill the whole colony. Only takes a few days. The same system works well for roaches as well. There are roach baits that you can scatter near where their source of food or water is and that will take care of the problem. Remember, all that poison sprayed ends up in the air or on everything in the house and, when sprayed outside, will end up in your drinking water.

The roaches in Houston are so big, my husband shot one once with a beebe gun.

Make sure you leave them a can of beer too...they love that !
