In general I find that people who aren't from upstate New York think New York ends at Westchester County--if they even know where that is. Great post. Yes, upstate NY is a fabulous place to live. I grew up in Mechanicville and then moved to Clifton Park before moving to TV in 2004. Miss the country but not the snow and ice. SPAC was always a treat in the summer and the Saratoga race track in August was a great place to enjoy the sport of kings. Fond memories of long ago.
