Yes went to boot amp there but came back later to serve on the USCGC ALERT.

We live in Toms River, right over the bridge from Seaside, and it is heartbreaking to see the area losing their businesses and having to rebuild again. They were opened for Memorial Day and I am sure they will be ready next Memorial Day. So many homes in Seaside, Lavallette, Ortley Beach and beach towns all along Rt. 35 are still damaged and destroyed. Our thoughts are with the business owners and homeowners trying to rebuild after Sandy and now Thursdays boardwalk fire.
