This is just an excuse for greater government control - over a non-problem. It is a scam. There is no climate change crisis - just a climate education crisis.

Correct. The change is minuscule. In fact, if you look at the global satellite temperature data (this is funded by the U.S. government), it shows a very slight 9-year cooling trend. Guess why the media will never tell you.

Most of our power companies are small, especially in rural areas. They are one of the largest employers in these regions giving them a lot of political influence. The infrastructure required to build a nuclear power station is beyond their abilities. It is also the reason most have vehemently opposed any transition to solar or other sustainable power sources.
