Default Smith Brothers Cough Drops

Tried today Chek Black Cherry soda, a house brand at Winn-Dixie. Had an instant flashback to those cough drops. Unfortunately Smith Brothers went out of business, but the flashback was exhilarating.

Didn't they have some licorice-flavored ones too?

Didn't see any. But, will try Red Cream next. Hopefully it will taste like the A-Treat brand from my golden years.

I like the Ludens sugar free wild cherry cough drops. But, I hate menthol cough drops, or menthol anything.

Smith Bros. wild cherry cough drops were the only thing that we were allowed to eat during class when I was in grade school

not sure that I ever had a sore throat...I just loved the taste
