Because I'm from Canada so many people say when it's close to freezing here in TV, "You're used to this right?!" Used to it, perhaps, but NOT loving it! Snow is pretty to look at, but so happy not to be in it. Brrrrrrrrrrr

Well, you have not missed much this winter. This - so far - is the cloudiest winter I have spent in Florida, not to mention that most of December has been below average for temperatures.

I will take this over Minnesota, but it so far has not been the winter I have become used to.

My fourth year in TV for winter, it’s just weird not seeing Holiday Decorations and white fluffy snow. Maybe next year I will convert.
My other half is here for the first winter, watching the snow fall from the outdoor cameras just isn’t the same. But going to Disney couple times a month without getting on a plane helps

You need to get out and around. There are neighborhoods in The Villages that are decorated every bit as much as northern cities.

We have opposite problem, we are stuck up in Rochester not willing to chance the transition to our place TV due to covid.
Two positives though:
1- only about 5 inches of snow
2- our place is rented for Jan

So we will sit tight.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!!

Really miss the smell of new-fallen snow. Nothing like it. Just don’t forget the black ice hiding under “fluffy, new-fallen snow.” Newly broken bones LOL.
