Songs that bring to mind The Villages, Florida!
We have had so much fun with The Never Ending Story that I thought we might write a musical.
I don't have a plot in mind, but I do have a couple of characters and the actors who should play them. How about Chelsea singing "The Cockeyed Optimist" from South Pacific, Two choirs, one the POA who enter stage left with some kind of "Sturm und Drang" music from Wagner, or......"Night on Bald Mountain" I just can't seem to think WHO should play the part of our LOTHARIO, can you?  Help me here. Once upon a time in a land far away was a beautiful woman named Chelsea who always saw things in a positive light.............Chelsea enter singing.....The Cockeyed Optimist. Chelsea had many friends who lived with her in ................................

Personally I love the idea....but perhaps we should do something a long the lines of "Mamma Mia"...using music from the 50's 60's and 70's.
Personally....I would love to sing the song from Helen Readdy...."Peaceful". Most of the words are the perfect way I feel when I am here..... Perhaps everyone can come up with a song that shares their feelings about TV's....then we could turn them into the musical... Thoughts? www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-I_6HBb0kw

  I know everyone gets excited about 1000-3000 posts....but hey...we all have to start somewhere! I hit 100!! Thanks for pointing that out Ronda!! Back to the topic....or how about "I am Woman".... I also thought about Kenny Loggins...."whenever I call you friend..." or dare I say it.... Starship..."We built this city!" Ofcourse anything ABBA, Carpenters, Mama's and the Papa's, Chrystal Gail, Patsy Cline, etc....you know the mushy stuff!!!

GRACIE.....we need to get together...we could write a whole musical with the songs from Sound of Music....I just looked up the lyrics and we can change them just a little to fit TV's lifestyle.....
