Florida House Bill 621 was signed into law yesterday (March 27, 2024) by the Florida governor.

Under HB 621, a property owner can request law enforcement to immediately remove a squatter from their property if the following conditions are met:

- The individual has unlawfully entered and remains on the property;
- The individual has been directed to leave the property by the owner but has not done so; and
- The individual is not a current or former tenant in a legal dispute.

Simple, straight and to-the-point.

You might want leave S&W 500 for grizzly bears. If might just go through what ever you hit, through wall and hit something.

There are other bullet points that benefit the homeowner and punish the enablers....

Why do we even have this problem ? Seems like criminals have all the rights.

And you can blame the attorneys for this. If there is money in it, the attorneys will find a way.

Seems like common sense, but our country has flipped on common sense.

Great job Florida!!!

Cooler heads and more rational thinking do seem to predominate here in The Sunshine State.

I just don’t want to miss, I wear reading glasses and it might have to be used in low light situations.

It also weighs a little bit more than most things in the house so if I fire all my rounds it serves well as a club.

Isn't that cannon only 5 rounds? I prefer 15 rounds with quick reloading capability (accuracy by volume). The good news is even if you miss with all 5 you've probably scared them to death.

And there is a sling strap on the end of that 10 inch handle/barrel I can also use for defense. It’s a great protection device every senior should have. Even if just one round hit, it gives us a chance to defend ourselves or get away. Granted we may be deaf after using it though.
