Default State Clubs in TV, etc.

One of these days I really do hope to get back to TV.

Boomer BeBack plans to be back.

On my opening screen which is msn.com, I have our local weather above the weather in TV. This juxtaposition makes me want to get down there even more. Even when your temperatures are a little low, that bright, yellow sunshine symbol shows up almost every day. And I am one of those freaks who loves humidity.

But, I digress. Quel surprise.

Anyway, here's what I want to know this morning:

Can anyone tell me if the state clubs keep a database of the hometowns of their members? If there are such databases, do they ever include maiden names?

Of course, such a list may not be necessary at all, considering that no one has changed one bit over the years. Either that, or living in TV restores your youthful appearance.

TV is such a big place. I was just wondering if the state clubs provided this kind of info to new members.

BB.... the MD/DE/DC club has an excel spreadsheet of its members also showing their hometown, but does not include maiden names.

The official Villages printed phone book includes hometown city/state of everyone who supplied one when they first bought in TV.

The Villages phone book though, unfortunately, only allows you to list one hometown, which often only means the last place you lived,or, perhaps, the place where you felt most at home.

I never felt much at home in Palm Harbor, FL even though I lived there about 9 years.

Thank you, bobfl,

I bet TV is so full of people from my state, there may even be more than one club. I will have a look at this list later.

I guess I'm tryin' to find my people, fumar. But I bet they are all Buckeyes fans...although...I do like to sing "Hang On, Sloopy" really, really loud sometimes.

I gotta get outa here and leave my house. You are all too much fun.
