Default A step in the right direction

U.S.- backed Kurdish forces drove the Islamic State out of Kobani. Constant bombardment from coalition forces was a large contributing factor. Looking at the photo speaks volumes.

Of course, Kobani itself was demolished, which just gives another populace a reason to hate us. I agree this needed to be done but I fear the ultimate consequences.

Agreeing with both posts above.

But it's only a matter of time before our soldiers and military decision-makers--having no good choices--are termed "war-mongers", "killers of women and children", and "cowards"….as if the enemy were capable of responding to anything but explosive force.

The populace needs a reason to hate the Islamic State due to how repressive they are. Hopefully, that will occur in Mosul.
