Any solutions to end the bottom garage weather stripping from sticking to the concrete??

Have you tried a powder on the garage floor, the rubber will pickup the powder and not stick to the concrete, may need to repeat. I would try a real fine wood powder like from sanding a piece of wood.

3-M has a 2" wide slip resistant Tape place it where the weather strip contacts the garage floor.

You might try wiping on a couple good coats of Armorall.

Replace it... it's crushed.... Amazon has replacement strips ... it's very easy to install...

From my experience, it's not the rubber on the bottom of your door that's giving you the sticking problem, it's the rubber seals on the sides and top of the door that melts a bit and adheres to the door. I had the problem and with warm soapy water clean thoroughly the rubber portion that comes in contact with the door when it's down. After that cleaning and letting it dry, rub petroleum vaseline along that same area of the rubber seal that comes in contact with your door. You will see that it will stick no longer. I recommend doing this every 6 months or so, especially in hot weather.

As already stated, the problem is not the strip that touches the floor, it’s the strip around the door’s edge (top and sides) touching the frame that is sticking. Clean it off with a damp rag every few weeks. Let it dry. Problem solved.

There isa product called Goo Gone you can use on all the weather striping around the door. Then use a light coat of car wax on the seal and it will solve your issue. Repeat once a year.

I’d replace the rubber seal. Just did that several months ago. You can buy by the foot at romac off rolling acres.

Takes all of 15 minutes to complete the task.

No need to clean the rubber every couple of weeks or deal with tape that - in time - will lose its adherence due to water exposure.

We use a wide weather stripping that lays flat on the ground where the driveway is against the garage door. It doesn't "stick" to the driveway, but it stays in place.
Works like a charm.

Mine was sticking really bad and yes, it is on the floor. I went to Lowes and got the rubber floor molding like you see in offices. Put it down without any adhesives. Stays in place. Works like a charm...

Like it was said, clean the strip well, allow it to dry, and coat it with Two coats of ArmorAll allowing it to dry well between coats. Don’t get Armor All on the garage floor, since it will make it slick. Good luck, don’t hurry the job, allow it to dry well (1 hour minimum) between coats.

Oh wow. I live Texas & we just had 2 or 3 weeks of 100+ temperatures &
I never had an issue like that & haven’t heard of anyone else having this issue. This is a new one on me. I would smear a very thin coat of some kind of grease or vasoline on the rubber water seal.

Ditto here, vaseline on the sides periodically seems to do the trick.
