Oh, I didn't think that. Most of the joking was about the beheaded saint! Poor guy.

Considering how many saints were literally beheaded, seems like an appropriate end to a saint's statue.

Ha! So true. There is a statue of a saint in a park in Montmartre who is carrying his head. Creepy. Saint Denis, first bishop of Paris, was sentenced to death by pagan priests for spreading too much Catholicism.

According to the legend, once decapitated, he stood up, picked up his severed head from the dirt and walked 6 km to the North, preaching a sermon the entire way. Amazingly, he even stopped to rinse his head off along the way.

I wonder if he gave himself a drink of water.

Just want to dispell a myth.

Psych Central - Dispelling the Myth of Violence and Mental Illness

SMI (Serious mental illness)

"Most people with SMI are not violent, and most violent acts are not committed by people with SMI. In fact, people with SMI are actually at higher risk of being victims of violence than perpetrators. Teplin et al found that those with SMI are 11 times more likely to be victims of violent crime than the general population."
