I really should have followed football better this year -- had I even been remotely aware Jeff Garcia was the QB for TB, there is no way I would have picked them to win. Jeff's a nice guy but ...... Ah, well, there's always next year to do this properly. Who knows, maybe you guys can get my love of the game back (and Parcells may just help, too!).

are there any football pools around? I probably left myself wide open for all the pool jokes so i am expecting to hear from the funny people - but would really like to know if anyone has seen any football pools

Not that I know of, but it would be nice to find one. Maybe we can do an online one and everyone pays up at the TOTV luncheon on the 18th (or mails their $$ by that time). Payoff could be done via mail if the winner(s) aren't in TV. It would be awkward, but doable. Probably too late for this weekend's playoffs but could be done for the Conference playoffs and the SB itself. Hey, this might be fun!

Green Bay Packers, may be a high scoring game, but GB has the second best offense in the league so in a shoot out they will win.
New England Patriots will be an easy win.
San Deigo Chargers are on a roll, this is still a toss up, I like Rivers and Turner but this one could go either way.
New York Giants, they are on a roll, and Dalles just didn't show up for their last game.
