that's the hardest route to travel, not only because of traffic, but also dodging golf carts, trying not to hit anyone. the lanes on morse are narrow @ times, you really need to watch out. or I do, anyway.

I concur, as a new Villages resident, I try to avoid Spanish Springs and that super congested shopping area along Highway 27 - takes forever to drive there, traffic is a mess, and has a very congested feeling I don’t like - so much easier to hop on the turnpike and head down to Clermont/Winter Garden to shop.[/QUOTE]

That "feeling" you speak of should improve when all that construction is completed. I agree that right now it is a bear navigating that corridor on 441/27. Just have to be patient for the new and improved roadway to be done.

That area will be Siberia for at least 5 years. They need massive traffic flow to support big box stores. First rule of new store locations

I have not made a Costco comment for a few months but due to popular demand guess it is time to start.:bigbow:

I don't know how my name got attached to the quote in your post but that was not me who said I stay away from the 441/27 corridor because of all the traffic. I travel to that corridor so often, I call it my "stomping ground".

Definitely not a fan of Amazon but we are kind of forced to use it nowadays. Also not a fan of Costco but very happy their is a BJ’s in the bubble now. We do go to Publix for the majority of groceries.

Keeping clutter down is good, we do much better doing it in our southern home than out northern home.

You will not be shopping at the new Target. It is not golf cart accessible.

Correct, I will continue to shop at the existing Target.
