Here I am 49 years ago, that's my mom next to me. I had just finished basic training in Louisiana and air traffic controller school in Alabama and was promoted to Spec 4 for being honor grad of my class. I was home in St. Petersburg on leave before heading to Korea.

That's not my van, that's my dad's, I don't think I would of bought a green van. They actually owned an antique store in Seminole, just outside of St. Pete and also set up and sold on the weekends at Reminger's in Mount Dora and Webster Flea Markets. They did that for 30 years. They've both passed on since then.

What I'm most proud about in today's world, my current weight is only ten pounds more than in that photo. I weighed 140 then and I weigh 149 now. Any other Vets care to post your photo. Vietnam would be cool, I was in Korea so my photos weren't anything special.
