Default Too soon to download IOS 14.0.1?

I have read that one should wait for further debugging before downloading.

Opinions?

I have it installed on my iPhone 11, seems to be working fine....
What bugs are you talking about on this ISO 14 software update?

I have read that Reminders with new update can be lost but have not heard of other problems

According to ZDNet, it may be too soon:

Installed on my 11 pro day it came out. No problems. Sometimes the issues you read about are happening on older model iPhones. Another good reason to upgrade every 3-4 years.

Default Apple Software

Always be hesitant to upgrade Apple software as they are notorious for having their clients beta test it for them. I worked with SAP for many years and the same was applicable there. With software that is incredibly flexible, it is impossible to test everything.

There could be more Robles with some of the apps you use than with the iOS itself. If the app developer chooses not to make the effort to update his app, it might not work after tge upgrade. That’s going to happen whenever you upgrade.

I’ve got an app like that. The developer won’t even respond to e-mails. Sadly, I’ve assumed he’s either lazy or retired.

Every new IOS upgrade comes with a warning from someone saying wait on the download. I guess it all depends on how risk adverse you are.

I just got a new iPad 8th gen. It came with IOS 14. What problems if any should I be concerned about? My previous one had IOS 9 (yes, really old) and many of my apps were no longer supported/compatible.
