Default Treadmills

I don’t know when it will be safe to go back to the gym.
So I’m thinking of getting a treadmill for home.
They weigh over 200 lbs. so getting it shipped to my house would be
difficult.

Are there places to buy them and possibly assemble them for you?
Thanks.

I would research the kind you want online and then order it on Amazon. They will deliver it to your house within a week or so with free delivery. They are not very difficult to assemble. Nordic Track is a good brand with lots of models to choose from. I would not buy a cheap one because you may not want to use it as often. I had one up north that had a built in television. Hopefully, it won't become a dust collector in a few months like many of them do.

Sell or use it! Takes up too much space! Either will actually make you happy! Give it to someone who will wear it out. Just a thought, you will in some way feel good about it. Or continue to look at it and let it gather more dust. “I’m learning also”

I’ve come to the conclusion after many years of watching people buy these treadmills , that the people who use them the most are already very fit and also do other forms of exercise. Try to start out with a walking or biking program , be serious about it and if you get to a certain level you can decide if you want to buy one . Please don’t tell me it’s to hot to walk , I’m 81 do all my walking , biking and some running between 1pm and 3pm after gym all year round good luck stay the course

Very true

I find it much more interesting to go out walking.

Meet some interesting people and have varied places to go instead of looking at a wall.

you’ll lose the cardio benefit or even better take a chat walk and an exercise walk

I have a manual treadmill, that I have hardly ever used. You can have it for free if you would like. It's really not that heavy or big because it doesn't have a motor. I'm looking to get rid of it because it's taking up space on my lanai. It folds up nicely.

My morning walk is my cardio walk but hardly anyone out in the evening for that walk so that has become my other cardio walk.

I suggest an exercise bike which is about 50-75 lbs , is compact and requires little assembly. Amazon will ship it to your house. There are scenic videos you can play on tv to relieve the boredom. Also to get cardio benefit you need to elevate your heart rate for a period of time based on your age. Good exercise plan books are available. The key is to gradually build up and don’t over do it.
