Perfect comment. I love it golfing eagles. The whiners.

Petersweeney 03-14-2022 10:40 AM

Tic tack? There ok but I’d rather have a UFO in the shape of Reese’s peanut butter cup or even a Kit Kat much better and if they came this far they can have all the beer in the garage fridge….

rogerk 03-14-2022 10:44 AM

My wife saw it also. No ideas and no I didn't see Scully, et Al.

Redsmom 03-14-2022 10:45 AM

Thanks OP for having the guts to report this. UFO simply means unidentified flying object. I find it interesting and appreciate your post.

Edit: I'm not talking about the plane pulling the banner...it sat in 1 spot, didn't move the whole time, turned from metallic white, to metallic gray and then into metallic black before disappearing from where it was sitting. A plane can't do that.

This was 12 midnight. Lighten up folks. UFOs are unfortunately true and have been proven. They have been around from at least the mid forties. Planes do not pull banners at night.

Thank you for your post.

I did not witness your sighting. Humor can be a deflecting/coping mechanism...the "UFO" topic can be mentally demanding for some resulting in xenophobia answers...fear of anything that is strange or foreign. Have patience with those types of answers. You were correct to post your descriptive information. Thank you!!

Extraterrestrial Life Likely

Very easy to ridicule that which we do not understand or frightens us. In the Summer between semesters I took a course offer by physicist Michio Kaku.
Prof Kaku and Prof Avi Loeb of Harvard (Astro Physicist) have demonstrated in their lectures the very real likelihood of extraterrestrial intelligence. What the Village resident saw is a UFO. It is unidentified. Without a photo or physical evidence there is no way anyone can determine what it was. On a grand scale, it is very possible, even likely that we are being and have been visited by life forms that originate outside our planet.

And some posters do not know that when the OP wrote 12 PM they might have actually known that 12 PM is noon, not midnight. Not only might we have a different view of what 12 PM means, we might differ on the word "proven"

Isn't it amazing that with billions of cell phones no one has gotten a good shot of an alien craft? Lots of blurry lights and blobs. Yet, I think the term unidentified suggests that we don't know what it is, not that it is proven to be anything.

The Drake equation suggests there is intelligent life out there. So at least it is somewhere.

Warcats 03-14-2022 01:13 PM

Wish I saw

I consider myself well informed and am aware of the navies acknowledgment and incidents. Only a fool with closed eyes and mind is not aware of this phenomena. Florida especially offshore is certainly a hot spot. Looks like I’ll be taking my binoculars to the hill in the oldest part of the villages. Thanks for the heads up. Amazing in that all responsible media admits the reality and yet still doesn’t pursue this topic. Let us thank The NY Times, 60 minutes, and even Tucker Carlson of all people. Stay sharp all.

Let me know when you find evidence of aliens from outer space. "I'm sorry" for those that actually believe that there is anything resembling us or any other supposed intelligence out there. Not asking for much, JUST proof.....legitimate proof. Flashing lights is NOT proof.

12:30PM is NOT midnight, and UFOs might be true but aliens from outer space have not been proven. There are a lot of things that are considered Unidentified Flying Objects, until they are identified.

But some of these village people do not seem to be like normal Earthlings.:bigbow:

Byte1 03-14-2022 01:29 PM

I also observed an UFO the other day, sometime in the afternoon. It was dark and then light and then flew away. It turned out to be a Bald Eagle. It's silhouette was dark and then the light shining through it's white tail feathers and reflecting off it white head almost made it shine. It was brilliant, and then it swooped away. I've recently observed a pair of eagles as well as their young offspring souring high above the Villages.

Ok
Let's put this into our perspective.
We (Earthlings) have just developed a space ship that can travel at the speed of light. We want to go visit other planets (in other galaxies) to observe.
We are looking for volunteers for a trip that will take (oh something like) a few thousand years. Anybody???

mulder and scully spotted on the phone in a red telephone booth.
Seriously
i believe what you claimed to have seen.
One misunderstood scientific fact is that unless your born on a planet with earth like gravity no alien can walk amongst us. Eg. Those born to martian colonists and raised there would be in agony if they came to earth ¹ the expanse . They would most likely need a human avatar to walk amongst us ² k-pax
the visits are either historical/ scientific expeditions or scouting to appropriate earth's resources ³ battleship. One of my pet theories is that they might be time travellers from our own future. Before you laugh gravity bends space and controls time. Check out time distillation or
⁴interstellar⁴
3. All those who know where gold comes from raise your hand
don't bother
it's created in the dying moments of a supernova sun and also creates many billions of tons of other precious metals and other seeds of life seeding them throughout the universe.
All is possible
the creator made it so.

Actually, if you are talking about travelling to other galaxies, the nearest one (Andromeda) is about 2 MILLION light years away.

Taltarzac725 03-15-2022 12:34 PM

Florida ranks 2nd for most UFO sightings, research says - Orlando Sentinel

There are a lot of UFO sightings in Florida.

Or.... a lot more people who see things. Kinda like those radio news shows where they relate a crazy a$$ story, like a woman climbing into a zoo exhibit and pretending to be the animals, and then the radio hosts ask the audience, "Did this occur in Florida or somewhere else?" The craziest stuff is usually in Florida.

Could be a weather balloon. I know they launch them at the Tampa Airport and they usually fall into the Atlantic if the wind are from the west.
