We could all save our energy on these blame games and just stay home and help prevent the virus from spreading.

Chinese media links coronavirus to US military lab

The state-run Global Times has reported about a petition on the White House website urging the US government to release more information on the suspension of an infectious disease research lab under the Pentagon.

The Global Times

noted that Chinese internet users and experts are calling for more information on whether The Fort Detrick laboratory was linked to the novel coronavirus, citing coincidental events between the lab’s closure and the outbreak of Covid-19.

It noted many English-language news reports about the closure of Fort Detrick were deleted recently, raising “suspicions over the lab's ‘relationship’ with the novel coronavirus”.

This is the latest in a series of remarks by Chinese diplomats and the state media fuelling a theory that the virus did not originate in China, but was only found there.

Last week, the official Xinhua news agency claimed that the epidemic was first reported in China but “that does not mean it necessarily originated in China”.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian has even tweeted
that “it might be US army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan”.
Remember old saying from childhood? “He who smelt it dealt it.” Tacky but what better defense than an offense?

There were several American servicemen and women in Wuhan China for the "Military Games", but that was in October, 2 months before any outbreak of the Corona virus.

If you want a conspiracy theory try this one- The Chinese Government has always attempted to decrease their burden by controlling the reproduction of children... Perhaps this is just another attempt to control the population??? Please do not put them up on a pedestal, they have not earned that "yet".
Info from Wikipedia.....
During the 1970s, Chinese citizens were permitted to have only one child.[3] The ongoing Cultural Revolution and the strain it placed on the nation were large factors. During this time, the birth rate dropped from nearly 6 children per woman to just under 3.[4] (The colloquial term "births per woman" is usually formalized as the Total Fertility Rate (TFR), a technical term in demographic analysis meaning the average number of children that would be born to a woman over her lifetime if she were to experience the exact current age-specific fertility rates through her lifetime.)

As China's youngest generation (born under the one-child policy, which first became a requirement for most couples in 1979) came of age for formation of the next generation, a single child would be left with having to provide support for their two parents and four grandparents. In response to this issue, by 2009 all provinces allowed couples to have two children if both parents were only children themselves.[5] After a policy change of the Chinese government in late 2013, most Chinese provinces further relaxed the policy in 2014 by allowing families to have two children if one of the parents is an only child.[6][7][8]
On 29 October 2015, Xinhua reported the change in the existing law to a two-child policy citing a statement from the Communist Party of China.[1][2] The new policy allowing Chinese couples to have two children was proposed in order to help address the aging issue in China.[12] On 27 December 2015, the new law was passed in the session of the National People's Congress Standing Committee, which governs country's laws, effective from 1 January 2016.[13][14][15]

In 2018, about two years after the new policy reform, China is facing new ramifications from the two-child policy. Since the revision of the one-child policy, 90 million women have become eligible to have a second child.[16] According to The Economist, the new two-child policy may have negative implications on gender roles, with new expectations for women to bear more children and to abandon their careers.[17]

Stop! Stop right now none of this helps it only creates more problems. At this second in time this virus is moving like a nuclear blast there IS no time to waste on the blame game the Focus of all governments is to get ahead of it. Be part of the solution NOT part of the problem. Yes there are people out there even in our own country that will try to politicalize this.

Yeah. interesting? Hardly. Difficult to believe. You betcha. Would China want to blame the outbreak on someone else? OF COURSE!. Their lack of controlling the disease caused a GLOBAL RECESSION. Scientifically, the corona virus is linked to other viruses likes SARS and MERS. Both which started overseas. And SARS started in China. Origination is assumed to be from bats. And the Chinese eat bats.. The Chinese markets are odd and weird from a western point of view. The Chinese account for 20% of the worlds tourism and is the 2nd largest economy. So the Chinese are traveling everywhere. So naturally this was going to spread. And what country was hit Italy.. Not surprising since Italy is the biggest tourism spot in Europe. Why would the US want to start this?

This is classic propaganda. Chinese diplomats worldwide all made statements on the same day last week to all major global news bureaus to seed the story and deflect the blame to the US. Various news agencies are looking for the hook to pin the outbreak on the US Army. Fair question is why did the Chinese military restrict access to their facilities in late Oct, weeks prior to the first reported case in Wuhan in mid-Nov. This has been confirmed by several Asian Military sources. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army was taking steps to protect themselves from the subsequent outbreak there.

Global Times is the Chinese mouthpiece for hard-line nationalists and anti-Americans in the Chinese Communist Party.

The corona virus started in the city of Wuhan, China, so at first it was referred to as the Wuhan virus. The CCP is very sensitive about having China associated with the virus so they started this outrageous rumor that it was the product of a US Army lab, intended to embarrass the Chinese.

That line is now being repeated by Chinese officials and media around the world. It is total BS - Secretary of State Pompeo just called out the Chinese on this today.
