Today's Daily Sun, front page
Hey, that's our own, Helene 2008 on the cover of the Daily Sun today. The article is great, she was reunited with a high school friend here in TV after 42 years... isn't that neat,,,, and doesn't Helene look pretty...

I hadn't had my coffee yet and my eyes were blurry, but I picked up the paper and said....There's someone we know...right on the front page!
Wonderful heart warming story about a wonderful heartwarming girl. Don't miss it. |

A very nice story about a true friendship when two people can not miss a beat after not seeing each other for 42 years.

Small World Isn't it?
Heartwarming story about Helene reminded me of this:
Two stories I would like to share. 1. My aunt had a best friend in High School. Afetr gradulation they both got married and were busy raising their families and never ran into each other although they lived in the same city for close to fifty years. My aunt and uncle went to Las Vegas and were waiting in line to see a show and my aunt spotted her friend several couple ahead in the line. Imagine, same city for fifty years and they run into each other in Vegas. 2. My friend went to Italy and was walking down the street by a famous fountain and he hears someone calling his name. It turns out he bumped into two old neighborhhod friends and made plans to see them for dinner. Small world, isn't it? |

I have a similar story to Rose Anne and Helene’s. My childhood friends and I went our separate ways in the mid 1970’s as I moved to a different county of NY. Last I heard, Joey F moved to New Jersey. My other close friend, Joe M went to Viet Nam.
Although I wondered what ever happened to them, I never dreamed both of them were now living in The Villages. Joe F. in Boneybrook, Joe M. in Amelia. Me in Buttonwood. Neither of us knew the other was living here until we all purchased homes. There is a lot more to my story but I’ll keep it short for now. Maybe once I return to TV full time, I’ll try to put an article together and see if The Daily Sun is interested. And yes, 2BNTV... It is a small world.

Yes that was a great story about Helene and her friend and of course the wonderful picture. Isn't TV the best place to live.
