Some how the medical community has figured out how to enforce......every one I have been to since this pandemic began....big signs....MASKS REQUIRED....NO MASK NO SERVICE...with someone at the door taking temps/asking questions.....if someone does not have a mask they are offered one....if they refuse they are asked to leave (I witnessed such a couple of times already).

Just like some big box stores have folks sanitizing carts they can also assign people to the doors.....no mask....no enter.

No army required.

Yes there will be, as always, some grouchy old fart challenging the system....easily handled by store management....just like Costco does......in fact here is one now

Correct. Some stores (Ross) have a sign up but no one there to enforce it. Many walking around and getting right up next to you without a mask. I not so politely ask them to move and give me space. How many people have to die for some of these folks to take the virus serious?

BJ's Warehouse has also just sent out emails to all members that masks are required effective July 20th

I'm sure that there will be some jerks that want to 'express' their freedom and won't want to wear a mask in these stores
...I hope that the stores have a couple of bouncers on duty to handle them...or call the cops

That right there is the crux of the issue. As long as the state with the highest count of current cases in the entire country refuses to mandate masks and insists on re-opening schools, you will have people who refuse to wear the masks and remind us all that ain't nobody can make them wear it.

AND - even if they wear it into the store, ain't nobody gonna make them keep it on.

That's a fact, it happens at Fresh Market where masks -were- required and are now only strongly requested.

And let's not forget that a security guard at one store was shot and killed by some crazy person who refused to wear a mask, and demanded access to the store.

No idea why I am answering this obviously trolling series of posts but here goes:

I care because if by some chance you are asymptomatic (I assume you know what that means but if not you can Google it) and walk by me in a supermarket, drug store or even on the street and by some chance you cough or worse yet sneeze and your sneeze or cough goop (scientific term) lands on my hand, arm or face and then I touch my face (which I shouldn't do but it is a habit) I can make myself sick or if I take my wife's hand or take my granddaughters hand I can make them sick and there is the possibility, however small, I can kill them. So yea, while I caused it if it wasn't for you NOT wearing a mask it wouldn't have happened.

Number one, the possibility of the example you gave is astronomically insignificant. Number two, you’re not suppose to touch your face. Number three, if you’re that concerned, wear gloves and a shield and don’t touch anyone until you’ve removed those and washed your hands. Number four, wear all the said attire forever because there is always “something going around”, seasonal flu etc. If you don’t, you are a hypocrite. If you want to get all garbed up, have at it, but don’t ever remove it while you’re in public for the rest of your life and don’t try to force others to follow. The msm has brainwashed the sheeple and they’re following right in line.
