Florida has about 14,000 NEW CV cases in one day. That should make everyone THINK and reach for their mask. Until there is either a treatment or a vaccine, masks are our only tool.

Make a choice if you don’t wear a mask, just stay home!

Oh gee...masks have so stopped the spread.

Your correct, in countries with the backbone to enforce mandatory mask wearing they have markedly reduced the spread of COVID19. But here, so many continue to wear their tin foil hats, claim it is a liberal plot, and throw tantrums in the Good Old USA, we are killing people As COVID19 spreads at an ever increasing rate. This is not about you, it is about us! If you choose to not wear a mask, choose to stay home, please.

Target will be requiring masks beginning August 1.

Walmart customers on 441 closest to the hospital seem to be more on board with wearing masks than at some other places I've been to. It's not 100% or even 90% but the majority definitely wear masks. Now if we can get all those mask-wearers to wear them OVER their noses and UNDER their mouths, AND respect the one-way signs on the aisles, things would move a bit more smoothly for everyone.

Meanwhile at Target, it's hit or miss. Some days most of the customers don't wear masks. There is zero social distancing except in the line to the cash register.

I started wearing a mask inside buildings that weren't my own home around 6 weeks ago. Sometimes I forget to bring the mask with me (like if I'm swapping out for a fresh one and forget to put the fresh one in my purse) but even then, I'll tug my shirt up over my mouth and nose while I'm in the building if I REALLY need to get something, and leave as soon as possible.

Target will be requiring masks beginning August 1. I don’t know why they didn’t in the first place. I’ve always thought they would have had that in place when they first opened.

Even if you don’t get 100% compliance, it will be better than it is now. “Help a neighbor out and wear a mask!” That sign should be at the entry of every store.

One should wear a mask for protection whenever they enter the Walmart on Rt.441. It's a dirty and nasty place even without the threat of the virus.

Maybe because we still live in a Free country, folks are allowed a certain leeway to make their own personal decisions?
I wear the mask, but not for others. I wear it for my spouse. As far as I am concerned, I do not care if others wear one or not. And if those that are worried about others not wearing masks would just stay home, they could quit worrying. There is such a thing as ordering on line and picking up curbside, in case some are not informed.
Since the death rate has gone down, I am not as concerned as others about "masks."

Yes, we should all get excited and welcome communism, because it is inevitable, right? Gotta love it when someone compares the wearing of a mask to destroying America. Can't wait to see what happens to those that finally see the day of their wishes and suddenly realize what they destroyed to get it. Too bad more folks have never had it rough or even lived overseas in one of those "perfect" countries they talk about. Like one guy said long ago, "you can't fix s....."

I wonder how many will insist it be mandatory to get the vaccine when they finally come up with one?

Will you? Me and mine will be in line if the CDC recommends it.

"Germs" is a catch-all term that covers bacteria, viruses, and other microscopic particles that cause illness in humans.

Bacteria are microscopic, single-celled organisms. Many don't cause disease and are even beneficial, although some are disease-causing (pathogenic).

Viruses are even smaller than bacteria. Viruses can't reproduce without a host.

So, do paper, and even cloth masks, prevent the spread of the Covid-19 "germs"?

Masks do work to lessen the transmission of the virus. Masks block the droplets that contain the virus. The virus, although microscopic, does not travel on its own.

Number three, if you’re that concerned, wear gloves and a shield and don’t touch anyone until you’ve removed those and washed your hands. Number four, wear all the said attire forever because there is always “something going around”, seasonal flu etc. If you don’t, you are a hypocrite. If you want to get all garbed up, have at it, but don’t ever remove it while you’re in public for the rest of your life and don’t try to force others to follow. The msm has brainwashed the sheeple and they’re following right in line.

Are you aware of the "reply with quote feature?
What example are you referring to?

Dayeight99 07-16-2020 04:53 PM

So, once again. Never take your mask off. Do you ever take your seatbelt off when driving? I’m guessing not. So, never take your mask off because something that can kill is always going around and is contagious.
