Default Wawa Coming to Wildwood, Rt 44

Plans have been submitted for a Wawa in Wildwood on Rt 44, just east of 301 -- on the south side of 44 between Wildwood Tire Co. and Wildwood Mower and Saw. It appears to have access from both 44 & 301.

It's about time! I don't know how we've survived this long with only two gas stations on that corner! Plus, this would also provide a cut-through to make a right turn off 301 without waiting for the light.

On the other hand, the two existing stations are not at all convenient to get into and out of without making U-turns and sitting through lights. This one would be marginally better.

I would say that three gas stations in the area would have been enough, but Wawa, Inc. knows their market and their appeal.

Not going to be golf cart accessible. That's my biggest disappointment in living south of 44. Everything is an excursion by golf cart.

There's a Mobil on the west side of 301 between 44 and the Turnpike. Got gas there when other stations were out a while ago.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to include EV charging spots similar to the one at 466/441.

How did you determine that? If anything, the blocks at the head of seven of the parking spots on the east side of the building make it look like those are different than the rest.

No, it’s not just an f-ing gas station. It’s Wawa. The quality of everything there is far better than all of the other convenience stores. Their coffee is great and the sandwiches as well. Also, I met my husband in nj Wawa and got married there too. So don’t knock my Wawa 😉😅. I’m !

We drive north to Wawa for special coffee, lattes, breakfast, and sandwiches. Good news it will be really close, Bad news, close enough to stop almost everyday
