What did your town look like according to Penny Postcards?

Check out your old stomping grounds during the times of the penny postcard.

Click on the state and then on the county to see old penny postcards from that area... ..pretty neat.

Thank you so much for a sweet moment of nostalgia about my hometown of good ol Reading, Pa. I am a sentimental nostalgia buff and always thought I'd end up back in my home town. The lure of sunshine sure changed those plans. Plus when you go back you realize what Shoeless Joe Jackson said in the incredible movie, "Field of Dreams"---> "Oh, my God, you can't go back"... nope, you can't go back.

If The Bronx were as peaceful as those pictures I would have lived there longer

Postcards were great.
That Brooklyn was even before my time.
Thanks,
Gail
