Pls try to keep them out of the trash/landfill. That said however, not sure who would want them, everything is digital, no need for physical media any longer.

Check eBay sold prices. I got $40-60 for many of mine. They have to be rare and in near mint condition, as someone else said. If they sold in the millions on initial release (I bought very few of those types), they’re worth nothing.

We are in the same sort of situation with our music collection. Tons of CDs and vintage vinyl LPs. Listing them all for sale will be an onerous task but we don't listen to them anymore and they are taking up valuable closet space. Add in the collection of framed movie posters that we have no place to hang and never will have a place to hang....

We've got enough stuff to stock a not so small store.

So, several members have asked what kind of music. I'll add my name to the list. If they're something I'm interested in I'd rather take possession than see them go into the trash.

If it's country music, rap, or Rachmaninov, I'm not interested. If it's AOR, funk, or Bach, I might be interested.

Default CDs Taking Up Space

If you have decided to be rid of your CDs, I'd gladly take all of them, sight unseen. I understand the need to de-clutter. Mike @ 352-815-0140

The original CDs are pretty much worthless.
Someday they may have antique value.

My daughter has spoken for the cd's.

I mistakenly dismissed that any of the kids (in their 50's and 60's!!!)
would be interested...totally surprised.

Thanks to all who responded.

I threw all of mine in the garbage. I did the same thing with all my DVD’s too.

I went completely digital and I don’t own any physical media any longer.
