I hate threads where people write replys that are several long paragraphs. I can't stay focused and generally don't care enough to bother to read them.

Nasty ones.

Posts that start about something not Villages related, but the author knows is political.

Political, or those that somehow turn political with lots of pent up anger.

People who dismiss others comments, to get over dog poop on their lawns, public places!

i hate all of the above the most.

Threads about ordinary, mundane things. Threads that only apply to people in one area of TV Land - for example, only about the new developments in the South.

Isn't there enough "hate" in the world?

Posts that claim to be non-political, but are based on political positions.
Posts that assume negative intention on someone's part.
Posts that attack, denigrate, or dismiss other people's opinions.
Posts that are out of context, or argue over a semantic nuance instead of intent.

In other words, posts that lead to arguing instead of discussing.

Although TOTV is supposed to not be political there are always political posts and that is what I hate reading the most. Typically the moderator lets right wing conservative views stay and when a moderate jumps into express a view only then do things get shut down. Take the Lori Lightfoot post. That stayed for up for 3 pages of people hating on the mayor. When one post supporting her decision came up 2 posts later it was shut down. That thread never should have been allowed in the first place. Anyway political threads are what I hate the most about TOTV.

I voted other; the ones I hate the most are the tools that out of one side of their mouth they’re saying how much they love The Villages and out of the other side they’re constantly bitching about The Developer.

They can’t have it both ways....

Sure you can. You can love the neighborhood you live in, and hate what's being done to the rest of the community.

But what they’re doing to the rest of the community may be just ideal for the biggest percentage of the rest of the people.

To the countrary I notice insane left wing rants remain posted whereas logical conservative responses get quashed almost immediately.

Any thread that includes the way overused cliche' "you can't fix stupid." It's time to come up with something more truthful and original. It's the "Free Bird" of online forums.

We did a take out at Little Caesar's and it was fine. Boy, $6 up here now. But the same size pepperoni pizza at a nearby place here is $26.

People who move to The Villages for what it has to off and then want to change things like they had ‘back home’. (Ex: “get rid of round-a-bouts”, “get rid of gates and guards cause this is not a gated community “, “use speed bumps”, “change the officials because they are developer’s puppets”, “ developer is greedy”, etc). You moved here because you liked what you saw.

A gree. People who have never tipped before asking how much to tip certain workers.

I hate the one that hangs off the back of your new dark suit where the flap is tacked temporarily, then you snip it and forget to pull it all the way out.

People who are only critical in their posts ruin the TOTV'S experience. People who use an avatar wearing the shirt from a Seinfeld episode are rough to look at. Mix it up. Not everything here is bad at all.

Dog Poop threads have run their course. Enough already.
