Default What was your very first car???

To help get our mind (and eyes/fingers) off Covid...

What was YOUR very FIRST car?

And your CURRENT vehicle (if more than one, your favorite)

A 1958 Ford Fairlane, used, my father picked it up for me. 352 V8, 4 barrel carb automatic, however, he did not notice "Police Interceptor Special" on the engine. This car was slow of the line, but at 80 mph, it was barely turning 2000 rpm, no idea what the top end was. First NEW car 1966 signal flair red Mustang, V8, auto, great car.
Current cars, 2012 Red Mustang convertible that I love, and 1966 Fastback Mustang just finishing complete reconstruction.

Only reason that Ford was slow was the skinny tires on back, weighted ton, and no traction control. Friend had 59 galaxy would burn rubber for ever. It it as 300 gears in the real axle 120 Plus.

First transportation was a 1966 Dodge Polara. First real car was a 1968 Chevelle SS 396, 375 HP, Hurst shifter, 4.11 posi rear end. After rocking it a bit, I could get the front end off the ground. And burn rubber along way. That was cool until I found out of cost of tires.

First car was a 1939 Chevy coupe with new poppy red paint and body but an old engine and interior. This car had a neat spotlight that I could control from the driver seat. It was not a go fast vehicle. I now own a three week old 2020 Honda CR-V Touring Hybrid that was the last one on the lot. I have gotten to drive it to pick up the mail several times.
