Default Bad taste?

Does anyone but me think that the mock Cemetery on Hwy 42 is in bad taste?

I'm guessing you are referring to the crosses in front of St. Mark's Church.

That is their way of demonstrating how many babies die through abortion.

St Timothy's used to do the same thing. Not sure if they still do.

I have seen many demonstrations that were in bad taste, to say the least.

Comparatively speaking, I do not think it is in bad taste.

It may not be PC, but I can't help but thinking that the world might be better off if more of us thought abortion was in bad taste as opposed to thinking this harmless gesture is!

Crosses are also in front of St. Vincent's, where many of us attend.

Not in bad taste at all.

Default Bad Taste?

"We are at war in Iraq. We are at war in Afghanistan. Our economy is in a shambles. Millions are starving around the world. 150,000 are dead in Haiti earthquake, etc., etc.,". Just where should concern for a mock cemetary fit in this scenario? Sound familiar canuk69? Or are you just a worry-wart?

Powerful.

Sometimes issues of wars and reproductive rights and ragulations get religious, moral, and political, but the starvation thing strikes all kinds of 'innocents' on all sides of the spectrum.
We knew it was bad, then looked it up.(starvation(dot)net)
Whew, 35,000 and growing every day, including diseases. 25,000 said to be kids.
The average lawn at a church wouldn't hold a day's worth of markers for the starved-to-death kids.
We were always told not to waste food, but we know that an average restaurant in our land of plenty landfills tons of edible food that we leave on our plates and goes 'bad' in the kitchen.
We weep and pray for all the malady and strife .
