Default what's being built on Powell Rd

We were driving on Powell Rd. headed towards 466a....there is a fairly large structure being built across from where the heliopad used to be a few years ago. Can anyone tell me what this structure is??

There is nothing being built across from the former helipad. The Wildwood Community Center is across from that.

You are probably referring to the construction site on the west side of Powell about 1/8-mile south of 466A. It will be a memory care facility.

The lot across from the Wildwood Community Center, a Bank will be built on that lot.

Needless to say, the property owners are upset.

It won't be a bank. It will be a one-story office building for the Citizens First Bank operations.

The city of Wildwood could have sold that property to anyone. Would the homeowners rather have a service station or an apartment building? Citizens First Bank operations will be a better neighbor.

Moral of the story. You should never buy property backed up to a vacant lot on a major roadway. Progress, good or bad, never seems to stop.

Probably the best philosophy is never buy a home that backs up to vacant property period. Tamarind Grove and Trailwinds e.g.

Default Wow

I asked a question and it truly didn't get a straight answer but a lot of people just wanting to weigh in about other stuff. Guess I'll ask someone at that Walgreens or the library across the road what it is.
