This sure is a groovy question.

And when I saw it, I harkened right on back to the days of yesteryear. You know. As in, "Hey Baby, what's your sign?"

So I docked the iPod to the Bose and I punched up The Fifth Dimension singing Aquarius.

You remember that one. "When the moon is in the Seventh House, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, then peace will guide the planets"...

Well, that was not working out so well so I dug out my old bell bottoms.

I had to lie down on the kitchen floor to try to zip myself into them. When Mr. Boomer came in from mowing, I scared him. At first.

Anyway, I really did try to get in the mood to tell you what my sign is. I like to do things right.

So.

I am a Libra.

I think that's supposed to be the fair and balanced horoscope or something.

Fair? Well, I have actually heard that about myself a couple of times.

Balanced? Yeah, right.

Nonie, I think we're supposed to be. Couldn't tell by the years we've been together. 35 yrs together, 34 married. I'd like to see if the Capricorns' have any traits like my hubby. Yes, he's a Cap. but he's German as well.

When I hear questions like this ("What's your sign?"), it reminds me of a time some years ago when I filled out a job application and it actually asked for "Race." I wrote in "Third at Belmont." (More relevant to New Yorkers....)

Though I don't give it much credence (or more likely, any credence...), I'm Aquarius (February 8). Yes, there are a few of us around!
