As a lover of irony, I will use money given to me by the federal government to pay for certain products deemed illegal by said federal government but allowed under Florida law.

I am not 100% sure which side of the fence you are coming down on. It appears you are suggesting people receiving SSI do not need the check because their income situation has not changed. This concept could be expanded further. There are millions of folks that have not lost their jobs and they will be getting the checks as well. Because they have not lost their jobs should they be denied the payment as well?

I think many here will do that.

If you don't need it, think you don't deserve it....now you can just go out and spend that much more than you usually would in the local small businesses in TV.
