"We" confess to being addicted to WII...bowling is the best. My wife has a 256 high and I only have a 226 high but we both are "pro's" and are getting better. We got a WI FIT when we were up in Connecticut (just lucked out) and that is a lot of fun too.......:pepper2:

Chels,

We love our Wii.....it took a long time to find Wii fit but finally got it. Also love the bowling and golf, haven't seen the karaoke game. Congrats on 3,000

Chelsea,

I have played Wii games and am especially fond of tennis. I just love to ace my competitor! Neighbors on both sides of us have Wii's and we've gone to their houses to play various games.

However, we are waiting until we get to TV to buy our Wii system. Hopefully this will take place during 2009.

We will be in town Feb 2-8 and possibly making important decisions at that time. At this point it all seems so exciting and scary at the same time.

One of the games I do want is the Wii fit. I'll probably end up having my mii falling all over the place like Cassie, but at least I'll be moving.

I looked for Wii Fit in stores before Christmas ... impossible to find.

I'm wondering if Wii Fit is more available now that Christmas is over. Has anyone seen the W.F. in TV stores?

Just remember Bare, if your mii misses a day of training, you will hear about it. I just bought Brain Age but have only played it once as I have been playing mahjong, Triple Play and golf with real people.

Best Buy had the Wii Fit. we got ours from Wal-Mart 2 days before Christmas. If you go back to the electronics dept and ask them, they will let you know when they get them in. just be there then or ask them to hold one for you. they did for me for about 2 hours till i could get there. Super Mario Galaxy is really fun. Much different thant traditional Mario Brothers.
We had the PS-3 for the kids, but Wii is much better. It is something the whole family can play together. The bowling is to much fun. Just make sure to put the wrist straps on when you play this game, espically the baseball game.

Chels...congrats on the 3000 posts...keep up the good work my friend. :pepper2:

I love playing Wii..I played tennis with my family at home, and broke a sweat..it was great exercise. I also love bowling. My 11 year old granddaughter is the champ, but it was more fun watching my sporthead son-in-law (whom I love)...throw gutter balls. :cus:
Let me know when the wii fit gathering is going to be...I wll be there. :coolsmiley:

Best Buy

I bought our Wii at Christmas, but the Wii Fit was not to be found anywhere. After buying the Wii at K-Mart, I went to Best Buy to pick up extra contollers, recharger, etc., and learned that they had advertised Wii Fit units in the paper that morning, and had a line of about 50 people at the door when they opened. I guess they had less than 20 units, so a lot of people went away unhappy. It's strange that Nintendo can't seem to manufacture enough product to meet demand. It's hard to find a Wii most times, and nearly impossible to find the Wii Fit at any time. Could it be some kind of weird business strategy to create demand but purposely not meet that demand? Regarding the Wii itself, I found the golf to be boring after a couple of hours, but the bowling is fun. It's really strange that improving my bowling score is a lot like my bowling score in real life - it tends to stay in the same ten pin range, no matter how much I practice!

Nintendo knows what they are doing....I finally found the Wii at Walmart right after Christmas. I just cant get enough of it. Bowling Pro already... Looking forward to the Wii Fit.:pepper2:

Collie, I agree! I think the tennis and bowling are fun, the baseball and golf are frustrating, and I still haven't figured out the boxing. And we have two nunchuks.

Another Amazing Feature of the Wii

We visited my daughter a few times and played Wii. We tried the bowling, golf and baseball games and thought they were fun. However, it wasn't until we visited again and played a game call Game Party (which has a great set of party games) that we crossed the line!. Ski Ball, Darts, Beer Pong, bar style Basketball and Shuffleboard, and Air Hockey. It's a blast, and was enough to get me to shell out the money for my own Wii.

But, what's really amazing came after I got it home.

The Wii is Wi-Fi compatible, so you can communicate over the internet, sending Mii's and messages back and forth, and you can send mail, including pictures. Well, THAT led me to finding out you can take your SD card out of your digital camera, plug it into the Wii, and go to the Photo Channel to view a slide show on the TV. There is even music that plays in the background. Talk about a great backdrop for a party! It's great! Seeing your pictures blown up on the screen is really something!

Hi Steve, yes! I just set up all those features last weekend! I was looking at the Party Game Set. I'm definitely going to order it now. It does look like great fun. And as far as the channels go, they will keep adding more and more. It's fabulous! :coolsmiley:
