Thank you for the many responses pointing out the Hide Classified button. It does help. I simply overlooked it. I'll be back more often.

Carl,

If you click on 'Hide' you will not see any of the items for sale in New Posts. We had this customer coded for just this reason and users who do not want to see classified items.
