I retired at 58 and my wife on her 55th birthday. NEVER REGRETTED IT. We visited The Villages before retirement and bought the same day
NEVER REGRETTED IT!

I've been retired for 20+years, and now I have arthritis. Go figure.

It has always been my philosophy that the hopefully significant time a person has on earth is a limited amount, akin to a gold mine or oil well, of finite capacity. Hence how I spend my time has always been important to me. In some employment situations I felt I was selling my time for so much an hour. In others it was how I chose to spend my time - and we do spend it.
