Default The World Clock --- awesome

CONNECTING THE TECHNICAL WORLD

Check out the world clock----Never seen anything like it. It is amazing.

http://www.chippynews.com/worldclock.htm

This thing is really amazing. Look at the relative causes of death, the population growth, etc. Of course, the thing's politically slanted --- what isn't. But ignoring some of the obvious biases and some questionable stats, it's interesting.

Thanks Muncle, I noticed there are about 109,000 abortions per day and about 100,000 marriages. Doesn't seem proper.

Interesting indeed--provocative--and indeed politically slanted, as pointed out. How many of us, in our gratitude for 'the good life,' ever stop to think that there are still those suffering from diseases like leprosy (Hansen's disease) and dengue fever?

Here's an equally thoughtful fact that many people are not aware of: There are more people living on Earth today than had EVER lived and died. Something to think about....

A Friend in TV had sent me this about a year or so ago, and I had forgot all about it. thanks for putting it up again. It is amazing and sad, scarey kind of all at the same time, isn't it.
