Default Trader Joe’s

You’ll never see one on Village’s property just like it’s sister store Aldi’s won’t pay tribute to the King.

My experience in NJ was the attendant would threaten you with a painful death if he thought you were trying to take his job away

On the subject of self-checkouts... We can all remember when the gas station attendant used to come and pump your gas. In a couple of states like NJ, you still aren't allowed to pump your own. When self-service stations began popping up, my mother would drive around to find one where she could stay in the car - she would not pump her own gas. Me, I would drive away from one that would not allow me to pump my own and pay at the pump. The best possible world would still have both full-service and self-service but we don't have that where we live and we make the best of it.

Self-checkouts are the same way. Some hate them and won't shop at Walmart others love them and avoid stores that don't offer the option. The best possible world would have both. Fortunately, some stores offer both options - that's where I prefer to shop.
It looks like you pointed out that the American People do not all
agree on many things. God Bless America!

I experienced this at Costco while traveling in Oregon a few years ago, however the attendant very politely explained the rule.

Isn't Wegman's a grocery store? How can a grocery store be useless?
