Default Yipsters! Cost of water parks!

I had no idea, $50 to $80. How do young families afford trips to these parks. Family of 4, over $300 for day trip. I must be out of touch with this world.

And then add in cost of food and drinks. I know families either save for years, or pay for years a trip to a Disney.

I’m officially old.....we did it differently.....we didn’t go if we couldn’t afford it.

Weeki Wachee is one of the best bargains at $13 for adults and $8 for children. It is a small water park but you also have the mermaid show and boat ride Very simple.

Took my niece to Harry Potter world a while back. Universal built part of HP in one park and part of it in another, so you have to buy a multi-park ticket to see all the HP attractions. And the prices of food, etc. ... OMG. I feel for parents.

Many places a season/annual pass is very close to the cost of a one day ticket. For the locals, they know they'll make the money on food & drinks. And there are often different tiers - some that include parking and some that don't.

So for a one day trip, yes, it can be very expensive. But for a year, the cost is not too bad.

Couldn’t afford to go when I was young enough to want to go. Now that I can afford to go too old go and don’t want to be in the sun

Just make sure they aren't having a mermaid reunion show while you are there, could impact the grands for life
