Thank you fair and reasoning brave jurors! This case should never have been brought. And of course the taxpayers are on the hook...again.

No, Florida is the place where you are allowed to defend yourself when being attacked. No one wants any children killed.

Most reasonable persons who review all the facts of this case will conclude as the jury concluded.

I am so pleased that a Florida jury has demonstrated that we have citizens that can and will make intelligent and well thought out decisions.

He is just as "not guilty" as Casey Anthony. Truly a tragedy.

My faith in our justice system did not waver. This was the right decision. He should not have even been charged! All the people attempting to create a riot should be arrested, including our AG...

Yes, I was worried there for a bit ....as all the talking heads were making it sound like the prosecution had proved its case........when in reality, we watched about 95% or more of the trial and had to go with self defense.

Especially after seeing that young mom Olivia who lived in the same development and had to cower in her upstairs bedroom with her infant son while two young men broke into her home and stole her property. Had she answered the front door, who knows what would have become of her and her baby. It proved to us that there was "fear" in that neighborhood and that perhaps George was being hyper vigilant.
In our opinions anyway.

Depending on who the "anchors" or television hosts are, it was not looking good for George. Not being privy to Florida television news, we had no idea how big a controversy it had turned into.

It's sad a young life ended so tragically, however, we feel George Zimmerman did feel threatened that night and who among us knows how we would react in the same situation with our heads being pounded into the pavement. Just a chain reaction of both lives coming together at the wrong time.

We thought both closing arguments (the defense and the prosecution) were weak and too long winded. We simply went on the trial proceedings.

Did anyone read that the young man had said to George:

"Tonight you are going to die".....?????

Was that allowed into testimony? I'm paraphrasing it ; also, no one would have heard it but George Zimmerman.

Two name just a couple. Where was the outrage when OJ was found not guilty of Killing Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Where was the outrage when Ray Lewis was found Not Guilty of killing Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar. Where were the threats of violence, marches, demonstrations, disappointed Jesse Jackson, disappointed Al Sharpton, THE 24 HOUR A DAY MEDIA COVERAGE, the whole trial televised, etc. This case at face value was much weaker than those two cases.

If you mean Angela Corey, the State Attorney, she gives me the creeps.

There was no proof or evidence that George wanted to or intended to kill someone else's child. If there was, the charge would have been Murder 1.

The right decision was made! I hope he can live in peace and stays safe now!
