Alan Dershowitz from Harvard Law just stated during a interview w/Huckabee on Fox that Angela Corey is the worst prosecutor in the 50yrs that he's been in law practice. Now that's saying something!! He also thinks she should be disbarred..also that this case should never have been brought to trial and that they should've convened a grand jury, and he said it was a case of self defense.

I was also confused by that statement as she had just posted in answer to my post that her original opinion was trying to be non judgemental but then she changed her opinion.........so all very confusing indeed.

The more we try to be "people pleasers" we simply lose ourselves.......
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions as far as I'm concerned.
Sometimes, we just can't decide.........or sometimes we can literally see and understand both sides.........that is a gift for sure.

Up here we are more plain spoken and don't try to embellish the truth of how we actually feel. Phoniness is one of my pet peeves.......so I try to just say it like it is at the moment.

Maybe this, maybe that.

Too many maybes and too many could'ves, would'ves, and should'ves...all combined to make the matter an embarrassment on so many levels.

I found this interesting and revealing. There were obvious political agendas to bolster and protect:

According to Kruidbos' attorney Wesley White, the former IT director was let go Friday by the state's top prosecutor, Angela Corey, for allegedly violating "numerous State Attorney’s Office policies and procedures."

Kruidbos, who testified in a pretrial hearing in the Zimmerman case in June, said that he had reason to believe that additional information found in Trayvon Martin's cell phone had not been turned over to the defense. Kruidbos said more than 2,000 photos from the phone were not shown to defense attorneys, including pictures of underage naked girls, images showing piles of jewelry on Martin's bed and photos of Martin blowing smoke.

Kruidbos' termination letter stated, in part: "It has come to our attention that you violated numerous State Attorney’s Office (SAO) policies and procedures and have engaged in deliberate misconduct that is especially egregious in light of your position.”

OH Boy.

Neither of you got it or get me. I was suggesting that neither statement was likely, and that George Zimmerman was unlikely to kill again and that Trayvon Martin had some bad things happening to him including his choice of girlfriends and being thrown out of school.

And the rest just kinda hurts. Being phony and people pleasing. I try to be honest and diplomatic. But I am from the middle of the country. Sometimes regionalism gets in the way of good communication.

Using more words doesn't always get the job done and it does help to read to the end.

And since I live here and have friends here and know their views and those views may differ from mine I try not to say things in a challenging or hateful way.

problems with purses: clumsy to extract the weapon, carry purses tend to be heavy before the gun goes in, and you (I) might forget I'm carrying and go in the bank...been there...

ps I don't think the pic on the site is a carry purse. carry purses have a hidden central chamber with "normal" purse chambers on both sides with top access. there's a zipper on the end of the purse to access weapon.

I agree with the verdict. In a few years this will go the way of the OJ trial. It will fade in our memories except for the occasional media rehash when another similar crime comes up. GZ will have to hide out for a while or move out of the area but I believe his life will someday be somewhat normal again.
