If only there had never been slavery, what a different place America would be.

Granted slavery was a bad thing, but think about where most of these black Americans would be today, if not for being born in the U.S. Regardless of HOW their families arrived, they should be praising God for their blessing instead blaming their failure on folks that weren't even around when their relatives were mistreated. Time for them to quit expecting everyone to feel sorry for them and stand up and be assets to America instead of deficits. No one is denying them equal rights today.

His only legacy will be he was the first black president.
His legacy and lesson is do not vote for an unqualified unknown racist by background even if they are the first. Being first brought nothing to the office of president and loss of stature and quality of life of a nation.

Take heed those who would have a first woman, unethical, untrustworthy, lying candidate.

This is the second time you've misspelled Carly Fiorina's name. I called you on it last time.

Why do you do this? Does she scare you as a female candidate, so you feel compelled to diminish her (in your eyes only)?

You make an EXCELLENT point ... but one that is very un-PC and almost never said in polite company.

Here's the reality, amplifying what you said ... today's Black folk are LUCKY their ancestors came to the US even if as slaves. Otherwise, instead of living in American where they can get some benefits while bitching about everything, they would be stuck in some hellhole African country, probably dead or starving. In addition, the smart Black folk (like Ben Carson and countless others) worked their way out of their crappy circumstances.

Think about it ... especially you liberals with your predictable gasps and name calling. It's true ... and you know it -- American blacks are still better off than they otherwise would have been.

He does it because 1) he's a moron and 2) is expressing his racist sentiments

...and the Peanut Gallery responses from the "Former Gang of Six" - now whittled down to two plus one pet toadie. It was good to see your names for a day - and, yes, you are the same ignorant lot as before.

Glad to see you are alive and well. You need to recruit a few more - as one poster put it "crazies coming out of the woodwork".
