IMO I always thought LBJ had them all killed. He was the only person to gain by it and the rest were coverup the crime. LBJ wanted to be president so bad he would kill for it And I believe he did.

In Jim Marrs book, "Crossfire", he stated that the destination of the motorcade was changed at the last minute to the International Trade Mart, forcing it to turn 120 degrees left (against secret service rules) in front of the book depository (Lone gunman theory) or into the kill zone (conspiracy theory). The change was ordered by LBJ, who of course also ordered the only physical evidence, the Lincoln limo, melted down 3 days after the shooting. Enough to convict?, no; highly suspicious?, yes.

We now know what they were told to make it LHO from the TSBD 6th floor window. Actually that was Malcolm Wallace (LBJ's personal hit man). Although the fatal shot was from James Files on the knoll with a Remington xp100 with a frangible .222 round filled with mercury so it would explode on impact.
