Even though the scumbags in the KKK and Nazis were protesting the tearing down of statues, they had a permit and a legitimate right to be there.

The opposition protesters did NOT have a permit, therefore broke the law.

The opposition attacked the legitimate demonstration.

The opposition came with weapons, also. Not to defend but to attack.

No one on here is defending the Nazis or KKK, just pointing out the truth that both sides were at fault.

It's ironic that it was the Democrats that insisted that the statues be installed and now it is the Democrats that wants to tear them down. It is the right that allowed them to erect the statues to give them some pride after losing the Civil war.

I say, let the left tear down their statues so that they won't have anything to run on in the next election. They accuse the right of being racists, but can't explain where they were for the last 80 years. And they cannot explain why it was the right that voted for equal rights, even though the left attempted to block it. '

Instead of breaking the law by vandalizing statues, perhaps the left ought use those lawyers in congress to help them remove the statues legally. Or, do they NEED an excuse to blame racism on the right?
