To me, it's JUST a discussion...an exchange of ideas. To them it's their world. I just wish women and minorities could be objective. |

I come from a working class background my father witnessed the stock market crash and the great depression, my mother was born during that period. My bedtime stories explained the impact to their lives and the ray of light FDR provided to bring the nation out of the darkness. Therefore I have supported welfare as a means to help people up when they have fallen on hard times. However, this summer I had an eye opening experience which has reshaped my views. I had a discussion with a women whose husband's ex wife has been on welfare for 16 years. Honestly, I didn't realize anyone could receive welfare for that long! What happened to Workfair? It got worse when she explained that welfare now included section 8 housing, cable TV and a cellphone. WHAT? Then I read Hillbilly Elegy by JD Vance which I found very enlightening. JD Vance is no liberal and his book helped to reshape my views on welfare. It appears, at least to me, life on welfare is so good that for a section of the population it enough! We could also discuss the abuse of the disability program. The welfare system should be a hand up NOT a vocation. |

This statement is wholly INACCURATE! I do have ideology which appears, some areas, to the left of you. My remarks are not stupid you just don't agree with them. So if it makes you feel better continue the childish name calling! |

And yet, you continue. Oh well, if you are that sensitive, I will reiterate that Libtard is just a descriptor not a vulgar word....that is unless you consider it a slur. In that case, you may be right. It may very well be an insult if I called a conservative a libtard. On the other hand, you should own it. After all, you libtards continue to whine about your election lose, attempting to make excuses or demean Trump's total annihilation of Killary. Too bad about you being too sensitive to have a legitimate discussion. You would rather deviate from the subject to complain about your personal issues. Perhaps you should allow the men to converse since you obviously are too sensitive for political discussion. Just a suggestion. |
:pepper2:You have to be convicted of a crime in order to be a "felon!" She was not! What say you about Mr Agent Orange? How many laws has he broken?

Legal affairs of Donald Trump - Wikipedia |
"President-elect Donald Trump rang in the new year together with Joseph "Joey No Socks" Cinque — a convicted felon with ties to notorious Gambino crime family boss John Gotti, a recently released video has revealed.
Cinque can be seen in a video obtained by the Palm Beach Daily News, cheering loudly as a tuxedo-clad Trump runs through a number of campaign promises before the hundreds of guests attending the New Year's Eve bash the President-elect threw at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on Saturday. "The taxes are coming down, regulations are coming off, we're going to get rid of Obamacare," Trump can be heard saying as an exuberant Cinque stands next to him, pumping his fists into the air." Trump appears with mobster-affiliated felon at New Year's bash - NY Daily News "Beyond a 1989 felony conviction for possessing nearly $100,000 worth of stolen artwork, Cinque "used to be friends with John Gotti," according to a New York Magazine profile from 1995. Cinque was also "shot three times and left for dead" in a 1980 incident that authorities described as "a hit," according to the profile. Further, Saturday's Mar-a-Lago party was far from the first time Cinque cheered on Trump. " |

Let me explain something. And I recall you from the past...this is BUCCO....and you and I are not normally on the same wavelength, BUT I came back to post for TWO reasons.. 1. I find the election of Trump or Clinton to be terrible. I voted third party, but after watching a man who I have followed for years simply manipulate people, set a new low for lying, I need to vent. 2. When I first returned here I found a few things. People who I once respected, I find are total hypocrites. When I was on TOTV in the past, they touted morals, honesty and character and now simply the opposite. The other thing I found were uninformed extremist simply taking over this place. It seems un managed, but while I would consider a discussion of policy issues and accept any side, these are extremists that appear to represent the alt right group. I was anti Obama...I probably criticized him more than anyone, especially in his first campaign, but my heart is not so filled with such hate as these people, and as much as I can, I will not allow hate filled rhetoric, based on this Trump character. These people know nothing. All they can do whenever you bring something up is attack Clinton or Obama, neither of whom are around in office any longer. They will defend Trump using whatever means...truth is not an option....but mostly they just keep making false, needless, passe claims. They. Like Trump cannot get past the campaign and rehash at every opportunity. PS...,.hope this finds you in good health í ½í¸Š |

No one admits to voting for Hillary, yet many insist she won "the popular vote." Like that means something substantial. |

Wonder if this is a symptom.
By the way, this is NOT a leftover...THIS was put in place by the Trump admin. This guy is a Trumper. "The White House abruptly dismissed a senior National Security Council aide on Friday after receiving reports that he had publicly laced into the president and his senior aides, including son-in-law Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka Trump at an event hosted by a Washington think tank. The aide, Craig Deare, was serving as the NSC's senior director for Western Hemisphere Affairs. Earlier in the week, at a private, off-the-record roundtable hosted by the Woodrow Wilson Center for a group of about two dozen scholars, Deare harshly criticized the president and his chief strategist Steve Bannon and railed against the dysfunction paralyzing the Trump White House, according to a source familiar with the situation." Why do we doubt you? Well, you start off almost every post with you being a conservative. Then you set about posting liberal talking points regarding Trump. Why do we bring up Obama and Clinton? Because as long as you keep talking impeachment, his morals because he said something that you are probably just as guilty of saying, over a decade ago, and assuming he has a relationship with Putin, then he will be compared with Obama and Clinton. Bill Clinton will also be brought into the fray, as well as any other scumbag liberal that is Anti-American. Instead of talking policies, you liberals (yes Republicans are liberals also) you want to disparage the president on a personal level. Several posters on here have claimed to be registered Republicans or conservatives and then go about giving us the same lowlife liberal talking points that prove otherwise. Funny thing is that one poster that I will not name but I have learned quite a bit about once he decided to pursue me on a personal level to the point of almost stalking, really is registered as a Republican. And he also rides with the radical left on here. But, it's no big deal. I came on here originally to discuss politics in a civil manner, and got attacked for it. Now I give back as much if not more than I receive. But, I am tiring of the diverting from subject and have started spending more time with my hobbies and less time on here. My injuries have healed to the point where I can go back to a more active lifestyle and less goofing off on the computer. I plan to spend less time on here and more time with other activities, so that's why none of this bothers me much anymore. Trump won and I am satisfied that America has been somewhat steered away from the cliff that we were headed for. Maybe socialism and communism has been averted for a while longer. It's not about winning but about AMerica. Not about who steers but where they want to aim us. It will be nice if we can get back on the road again. America is not operating with power steering. It's taking a long time to turn this great vehicle. It going to take some rough riding and some big bumps to get us back on the road to recovery. And I do not have to like Trump to support him. I like what he is doing and what he says are his intentions for America. So far he is living up to my expectations. |

You are very right about this site now, I remember well are discussion about Obamacare. Of course we were on opposite sides, but we discussed it, understood and respected each other positions. I miss that here. I hope you keep posting! |

I envision most of these posters...the extreme alt right, sitting in a basement somewhere sneaking time on the computer. I know that's not true, but that is the image they portray. Yeah, I recall those days where folks like you and I could be on opposite sides, but respect each other, motivate each other to read even more to confirm our thoughts and present them without preaching. There are a few posters on here from those days, but from what I see...well, thinking if only 3 right now, but they are hypocrites of the highest degree. They would join folks like me extolling truthfulness, moral character, etc., and if you recall..I was a leader in talking about Obamas relationships wit Wright, studies of Alinsky, etc. Now, the hypocrites who joined me just do not care about a liar if such epic proportions, when you lay it out it doesn't even seem possible, don't care about his associations with the mob, don't care if he screwed every woman on the planet, etc. A man who adopted the alt right, appointed people like Bannon and Flynn to his staff...well, Alinsky and Wright sound pretty darn tame. Those same hypocrites do not see what he is doing to our country...have the President of the United States look into American citizens eyes and just lie is scary.. You and I probably still have our basic differences, except for this man in the WH. These folks pass him off as some sort of change maker. He is not even close, and I suppose he simply allowed them to openly hate. This is a take over by Bannon and his ilk. They have their poster boy, are good at communicating and not say anything. Folks on here do not read the international press...but then again it is all fake unless it is good for you, but if they did, they would understand... Well, let's say it this way....as you well know, I opposed Obama and strenuously. But hearing this punk say what a mess he inherited, when I recall being in here discussing our dire financial situation in 2008, the numerous wars going on, etc. and while I literally did not like Obama policies, this is not a mess. Back to these extreme folks on here...they do not respect facts, only 3 things..whatever Trump says...hate for Clinton...and hate for Obama. Frankly, I get angry that these posters are so uninformed, I am end up defending Obama ! And you know I do not want to do that 😊 |

You have a right to be critical of Trump. But, you decided that you are far superior than those on here that voted "ignorantly" for Trump. Sorry, but you lost credibility when you admitted to voting for the loser. So, next I expect that you will attempt to say that Trump is a bad guy and that he says bad things. OK, we know that. We also know that he has run on and is attempting to do what we elected him for. He is the hardest worker the White House has seen in decades. He may not be nice, but I don't care if I like him or not as long as he does what I elected him to do. And he is doing it. So, disparage him all you wish and be corrected when you are wrong, but you are arrogantly showing your @ss by disparaging those that support him. Maybe those that voted for him, had to hold their noses to vote. Maybe we voted for his policies not his personality. Maybe some of us voted against the felon Hillary and did not want her to win at all cost. |

So I voted for Hillary.... |

So, you knew she was a felon and that she was likely instrumental in getting Americans killed. You knew that she was a pathological liar and a thief. You knew that she had/has a scam going with her charities and a pay to play scheme. You knew that she voted for the sale of 20% of the world's uranium to Russia. You now say that Russia is evil and that Trump has a relationship with the evil Putin. I guess now you realize that Hillary had more of a relationship with Russia than Trump. So, even though Hillary is a criminal felon waiting to be prosecuted, you voted for her. You just can't make this kind of stupidity up. You didn't want to vote for Hillary but someone made you do it. Could that someone have been the Devil, as in "the Devil made me do it"? |
