Default Call Me -----

Call me anything you want but in my view I hope Donald Trump calls their bluff and shuts down government. By law the essential workings of the government defense, issuing checks, etc must continue. This fear mongering game the politicians play so as to continue their nasty spending habits has to stop.

If Congress cannot agree on a budget then shut down government and send the politicians home without pay.

Personal Best Regards;

Shutting down government for lack of funding to build wall would be stupid. Now insisting on a balanced budget would be worth it. Trouble is Republicans love deficiet spending as much as Dems. Dems always win with that game.

You should retire, but wait, that would assume you ever had a job.

Your opinion is worthless.

Too many of you miss the salient point because you always go for Trump's head fakes. This isn't about a wall, a wall that would cost less than an inter-state to erect, a wall that was built in Yuma AZ and has been 94% effective.

this fight isn't about Trump This is about a war of wills. This is about one guy who happens to be named Trump who promised to change the way Washington operates. We have heard t=it all before from politicians on the left and right promising to change Washington corrupt ways.

This is about a guy that is being hit, and hit hard, in every direction and yet like the old commercial espoused, demonstrates effectively "never let them see you sweat".

Critics (career politicians, MSM intelligence community, Hollywood nut cases, radical socialist) who have fallen in line in favor of the status quo, quid pro quo, collective, compliant mentality clearly are frightened of a free thinker, an individualist, a nationalist. So frightened are they they have thrown everything including the kitchen sink at him and he hasn't even flinched, In fact it hits back twice as hard.

Is all in the game called " Deep State"" playing to maintain power and control Trump is right not to play nice. Nice guys finish last. Nice is viewed as a weakness by Deep state

This is the reality and the truth is those opposed ,not only can't handle the truth, they default in distorting it

I am not buying their propaganda. I am not going to submit and continue to lose more of my freedoms and to allow this corruption and deceit to be ignored.

Based on other readings, polls, etc the majority of American are not buying into the left's fake narrative. however since the left dominates the news one wouldn't know that unless one did some digging first because the left buries such truth deeply

Je suis American

Pure bull$hit.

This is about a POTUS, that put simply...just isn't very smart.

He has no concept of our Constitution and the definition of the term... 'Separation of Powers.'

Separation of Power | We the People | Constitution USA | PBS
Quote:
The framers of the Constitution feared too much centralized power, adopting the philosophy of divide and conquer.

Within the separation of powers, each of the three branches of government has “checks and balances” over the other two.

He actually believes that the United States is nothing more than a family business that he is the CEO of, with unlimited power and the final word on everything...and is constantly enraged that he can't just act like a Putin.

Which of course...also explains his hero worship of old Vladimir.

Nixon gave us a glimpse of the brilliance of the FF's in ensuring that there isn't too much power in the presidency, but Trump is the one who has shown decent people just how smart the Founding Father's were on this part...and at least gives us true Americans a chance for a long and grateful sigh.

And his Jim Jones like cultists...are too ignorant to see it.

Are you suggesting the people that voted for Crooked Hillary were not of sound mind? Good thing there was not enough of them to get her elected...

Like the media claiming Trump had only a 24% chance of being elected?

Well said. It has been my belief that if fundamental changes were to occur in our "politics as usual" system, it would take a person who would not be afraid to get down to the rough and tumble level of many politicians and the media. It would also take a person who does not allow what others think of him to deter him from his mission. That is why, when I voted for Trump, I felt he was the candidate for our times. Although I do not always appreciate his mannerisms and/or tone, he does not seem to be a pushover and will fight for what he promised and what he was elected to do. Imagine that, a novel approach to being an elected servant.

Some on here seem to think that he is all about himself and into the power of the position. I don't buy it. I feel that he cares about this country and the direction in which we are going, and will continue to believe that until proven otherwise. Call me naive or whatever, but as I've said before, only time will tell.

I do not like "politics as usual" either. But so far Donald John Trump has shown that he is more interested in what is in it for himself and his family more than anything else. His swamp is deeper and broader than ever in DC and he has brought in the Russians as the largest predators in it. Right now he seems more interested in just remaining POTUS for as long as possible despite all the damage he is doing to this country in terms of wide spread divisions.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you. The wide spread divisions have been going on for a very long time. Maybe when you are on the "winning side" it is more difficult to see, but our former president added much to the division of the country - although again, I will say, it has been going on even way before then.

The other allegations in your post are unfounded at this time, and as I said previously, only time will tell.

The "division" has been going on since part of the country wanted to stay under English rule and others wanted independence. It's been going on ever since.

Each citizen has to ask him/herself what kind of America they desire to live in. I made my choice and Trump is just a means to an end.

I just read where some claim Trump left the Republicans and for all intent and purposes is an independent. You know what my response to reading that was " Good"
Too many Republicans like too many Democrats are more interested in Party than country and more interested in getting votes rather than voting for the sake of the country.
