I know I'm not the sharpest knife in the block, but I call it like I see it. What I am seeing is that anything that was said about Bush, and still is, had very little to do with his policies and everything to do with bashing the man. No, he definitely was not articulate, but that sure didn't make him wrong. It sure made him a great target, though.

Please tell me why that was ok and why you are so offended now with comments regarding primarily Obama's policies. He says one thing and then turns around and does just the opposite. Why must he constantly put our country down while giving the American people exactly zero credit except for those who agree with him? Bush always praised America and the American people. He may not have done everything right (nor will anyone else), but he didn't put us down.

So far, I have only seen the race card come out when posters start running out of anything else with which to counter points made.

Like I said, I don't post much, but that doesn't mean that I have gone away.

Chels....this may be a strategic time for you to head back to the roadhouse. I saw Boomer's Cadillac parked in the lot next to a pick up truck with a Palin for Prez bumper sticker. An empty shotgun rack raised more questions than answers about the F-150. Two Harley's. a Goldwing and a Prius peacefully coexisted on the side of the rustic building. Through the eerie moonlit night.....flickering candles inside illuminated shadowy silhouettes moving furtively. Something sinister is brewing.........

Some legacy, tell that to the 2,900 9/11 victims who died because of his incompetence and the 4,000 plus troops who died after "Mission Accomplished" and the huge deficit he left behind.

This is getting better and better. Let's see now, Bush is responsible for the deaths on 9/11 because....he wasn't psychic, I guess. It is like blaming Clinton for the Cole bombing. And the soldiers who died during the war on terrorism, well it pales compared to the 350,000 US soldiers who died in WWII. The question is what is a good war? That we can debate. And the deficit; Bush is a piker compared to the deficit the current administration is running up, even before the cost of "health care reform".

I think the Dems are still mad that he kept Gore and Kerry out of the White House in very close elections. This is, of course, his greatest accomplishment. You are right, comments like that are unfair, but it makes you feel good, no?

in my opinion is the beginning of the nasty nasty politics we see today. That does not mean that there was not nasty stuff going on before that, but those elections so angered the left that Soros and the money went to work BIG TIME and if you read about some of the organizations and the money trails the nasty nasty stuff started then !
