You are not referring to the one that started in 1954 right after the fall of the French are you? The one that ended in 1975 with the fall of Saigon.

I played in that game and we came in second place. It was called the Southeast Asian War games.

Classic response. If you don't have any facts to counter an argument, just call what's being said lies or smoke and mirrors. That'll help everyone make good decisions next time they have to go into a voting booth.

If anyone says simply that they will vote for one party or another and don't let their thought process go any further than that, we'll deserve what we get for a government. We'll get more of what we've seen for the last decade or two because that's exactly the way the politicians craft their statements, political ads and soundbites. Crafted to appeal to people who they know won't choose to think.

I prefer to look at the content of the quote presented.

Forget about who said it....the message is 100% on target.....as far as I am concerned.

In addition the current bickering displays for we the people that those in Washington have only one concern....their own re-election and maintaining party position....AT ALL COSTS.
There is not one iota of consideration for we the people.

Underscores the total incompetency of the Washington 545 and the complacency of we the people to continue tolerating it as we are led down into the abyss.....again.
