...and we have just had a poster from the Westboro Baptist Church!

These anti God, anti Religion, anti laws posters will go back a far as they can and do and say whatever it takes to convince everyone to abandon the caring about the character of our elected folks. They have no respect for anything except themselves.

And the far right religious nuts think the only thing that matters for one to be a good politician is if someone spouts Bible verses and prays against all things liberal. They have no respect for anything except themselves.

Still showing your ignorance. But diverting to West..Bap..Church is real original. It would be more credible if you could tie in some sort of relationship with the topic though.

But, do go back to conversing with yourself. I believe your mom is coming downstairs soon with your milk and fruitloops.

Back to the subject at hand, clearly the only fruit loop in the room is Carson. Going after people with baseball bats...really...And this is Presidential. Hmm..

[QUOTE=Guest;1135604]Keep in mind that Carson wants the bible to dictate the law of the land and NOT the constitution. I guess he would put Kim Davis on the Supreme

Dr Carson has publicly stated just the opposite - that one's religion or beliefs should NOT interfere with one's interpretation of the Constitution. He went further to say he would not vote for a Christian who pursued the creation of a theocracy.

I am very interested to see evidence to back your post.

He was a teenager when these things occurred. No one on here has ever done anything construed to be socially wrong, right?

Tell you what, you bring me his criminal record from the last 30-40 years. Then bring me his work ethic record, how many lives he has saved, a complaint from the conjoined twins that he operated on, and then we'll do a comparison study between his reputation, past record and Hilary's. Let's go back to her scandals in Arkansas, her work record, her lies, her blaming someone else for her failures, her family life, and........tell me how many lives she has personally saved.

Yes, I do believe he is a viable candidate for president. Will I vote for him? I haven't decided on a candidate yet, but it sure won't be the criminal Hilary, or the Socialist Bernie. You know, the guy that spent his honeymoon in the Soviet Union.

Let's examine this a bit. You claim that Christians (or religious folk in general) are nuts and have no respect for others. And yet, they constitute 80-90 percent of the population. You know what they say about those that think everyone else around them is crazy, don't you? It means that you are the real fruitcake, not everyone else.

You can give plenty of minute little details that you feel are disqualifiers for the candidates, but you have not been able to find one positive thing to support your criminal Hilary. That is pretty sad,,,,,,,and I will pray for you.

I can't help but wonder when I see statements like this if this is why liberals tend to want to keep those who are financially needy or struggling, be it morally or emotionally, under their thumb so to speak. Could it be that they don't believe that people can change? That they are incapable of pulling themselves up by their boot straps, therefore "big brother" has to intervene, often for life, to do everything for them? If so, how sad to look at your fellow man in this way. Seems like a pretty hopeless outlook on life. Not one I'm familiar with, nor I'm sure, are most Americans.

Care to comment?

Perhaps the error in the thinking is there is any incentive or intent for the individual to improve.

I think it is just the oppoesite. The intent is to build a voter base that is dependent upon the government to provide benefits forever in return for re-elections.

There is no improvement required in their strategy what so ever.

The flaw (one of many) in their thinking? At some point the number with their hand out will so far excede those who pay into the government (taxes) that the benefits will wind up being reduced. A side effect of course will be the dependent will adjust as they have no other choice. Being that the dependent overwhelm the system eventually just by simple pro-creation.....the standard of living will continue to reduce.

One big advantage (it could be viewed as an advantage) is that no matter how bad the standard of living descends to it will be better than they had before the handouts or where ever they came from.

We are, like it or not on that path. Enjoy what we have today because it is the best it will ever be after today!
