I have to agree with your wife on this one. I don't know of a law against adultery on the books. However, illegal drugs use is illegal. How can we have a man in the White House who breaks the LAW?!

OMG! Call your senator. Call your congressman. Tell them you want the President of the United States arrested for using illegal drugs. Call the FBI. Call the state police. While they're at it, have them pick up President Bill Clinton for smoking marijuana. I'll be glued to my TV watching for the presidents to be perp walked off to prison.

Sounds like you just got through smoking something.

The man could commit murder and some of you would still make excuses for him.

Don't tell me now you're saying he committed murder. Just saying it would be a little difficult to graduate first in your class from Harvard Law School and president of the Havard Law Review while strung out on drugs.

No, but if he did you would spin the story in an attempt to defend his action.

I am very very curious and would appreciate a link or something to give me that information about the President graduating first in his class.

I ask this because you are on to something. I have never read that he allowed his grades or entrance exam scores to be made public and that up to this time, NOBODY knows anything about Harvard, Columbia, etc

Did I say in my post that he committed murder? Didn't think so!!! You win the title for top spin master of all time. Enjoy your accomplishment.

On 60 Minutes:
-He openly admitted to smoking marijuana
-He openly admitted to using cocaine
-He openly admitted to a desire to use heroin
(I never said he was "strung out on drugs". I only said that he admits to illegal drug use. Illegal being the key word here...HE BROKE THE LAW)

This is the first I have ever heard that he graduated first in his class at Harvard Law School. There is actually no proof that he ever attended Harvard Law School.

Just hoping that JANMCN will enlighten us on her claim that President Obama was #1 in his class at Harvard....repeating my question...If you have the information, you have a scoop !

Here's what answers.com has to say on the subject:

Quote:

Barack Obama graduated magna cum laude.

We do not rank students at HLS. The student with the top GPA is awarded a prize, the rare student who gets mostly A+s is awarded summa cum laude, there are many years where no one obtains this degree.

However, one can infer from his magna cum laude degree that he was in the top 10% of his class. His position on the law review could mean he was high within that 10% bracket. But there is really no way to know where he ranks from #2 through 10%.
Magna cum laude is awarded to the top 20% of graduating students. Summa cum laude is awarded to the top 4-5% of graduates. SO, he could not be in the top of his class as reported.
I think it likely that someone read "near the top of his class" and inferred "at the top of his class".

I just wonder how many times did Bush drive while drunk which is far worse then doing something that endangers no one but yourself.

Unless he got behind the wheel himself, right?

Right.....my point was that the dems do not have a monoply on presidents with poor and impaired judgment. I just read a CBS poll that asked if Bush could run against Obama, for whom would you vote? Obama won, hands down. I think this is more about how bad Bush was than how good Obama is.

Show me any report where he did even that. I can find nothing, nada, zippo, zilch on his college records or standing.

Took me about 30 seconds to find the following. Perhaps your Internet search skills aren't quite up to snuff. Please don't tell me I didn't document where this came from. Go to Google and find it yourself.

At the end of his first year, he was selected, based on his grades and a writing competition, as an editor of the Harvard Law Review.[18] In February 1990, in his second year, he was elected president of the Law Review, a full-time volunteer position functioning as editor-in-chief and supervising the Law Review's staff of 80 editors.[19] Obama's election as the first black president of the Law Review was widely reported and followed by several long, detailed profiles.[19] During his summers, he returned to Chicago where he worked as a summer associate at the law firms of Sidley & Austin in 1989 and Hopkins & Sutter in 1990.[20] He graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991 followed by his returning to Chicago.
