And now Truman is considered in the top 10 best!!!

My opinion has always been....on football polls do not rate them until they have played at least six games.......how many years equals six games..a lot !

I apply the same philosophy to those who rank Presidents !

take your pick:

sub·stan·tial
   [suhb-stan-shuhl] Show IPA
adjective
1.
of ample or considerable amount, quantity, size, etc.: a substantial sum of money.
2.
of a corporeal or material nature; tangible; real.
3.
of solid character or quality; firm, stout, or strong: a substantial physique.
4.
basic or essential; fundamental: two stories in substantial agreement.
5.
wealthy or influential: one of the substantial men of the town.

Hmmmnnnn I wonder if there is a specific for "considerable"? I kinda thought substantial was relative....eh? Considerable would mean one thing to a poor person VS what it might mean to Warren Buffet. Last I checked....substantial works the same way!!

Maybe I should have said:
a bunch
a lot
maybe a whole bunch

But they too are all relative.

And it would not matter since I was not praising Obama it would come under fire...no matter what.

...and a very "substantial" number of American voters believe that the current Republican slate of candidates are not worth a bowl of warm spit.

I'll accept that as a back handed concession!

Can you provide a source for the "Warm Spit Poll"?
