So, Democrats want the government to tell the media what they can show and what they can not show? They want The Villages to tell the Theaters to shut down their viewing of unfavorable material? Doesn't that sound a bit like the former USSR? Did the democrat party suddenly speed past the socialism part and expedite embracing communism? Or is that idiot Democrat believing that The Villages can tell a private business how to run their business?

After all, it's not like this isn't the perfect demographic for it.

I draw the line (but am not surprised) however, at the reports of violence that it seems to have engendered in the more feeble minded right-wingnuts.

It's obvious that those people are looking for any excuse to use physical violence...since most of them can't compete on an intellectual level anyway. ;)

The establishment doesn't organize protests. That's too risky. They make "donations." Don't they talk about this in the meetings?

I'm not finding reports of violence anywhere on the news or online regarding this movie. Could you provide a link to the reports you are referring?

You might think there are many people asking for the movie to be discontinued.

That is one person. And I'll bet that one person has done more to sell movie tickets in the villages then any of the promos. I don't care either way. And I don't see anyone as a physical threat around here. But I do know that it's wise not to talk politics if you have a dissenting opinion.
